Shattered is the second book in the Extreme Risk series by Tracy Wolff. We meet up with Ash Lewis one of the hotshots in pro snowboarding. He had is eye on an Olympic medals and a great career ahead of him. But that all went to to hell after the horrible accident which resulted in the deaths of both his parents and ended up getting Logan, his fourteen year old brother paralyzed from the waste down. Now, Ash is just trying to get by supporting his brother and giving up in his dream of snowboarding.

Tansy, has lived 10 years of a sheltered life within the confines of the walls of a hospital, doctors appointments, surgeries, and constant supervision of her parents. Now that she's in remission she just wants to have the chance to live and find out who the real Tansy is -minus the cancer that is. She happens to stumble upon Ash as her first assignment for her job at a make a wish foundation. One look, and sparks fly! The problem is Ash is too preoccupied with having to deal with problems at home ands coping with everything on his plate. And Tansy is trying to deal with how to respond to her attraction to Ash. These two were destined to be and their love story is one that will have you laughing, crying and teaching you how precious life really is and to never take anything for granted because it can all be taken away from you in a blink of an eye.

Absolutely loved this book! I can't wait for the next installment! Definitely recommended to you all!
